Meat Cutter
The Meat Cutter helps in any way possible in the total operation of the Meat Department. The Meat Cutter's primary duties are cutting and preparing fresh meats.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, processing, and stocking all types of meats
- Understanding and answering customer inquiries regarding ingredients,
preparation, cuts, and quality of meats
- Cutting and processing meats, operating meat saws and equipment
- Ensuring proper use of scales, weights, tares, and correct pricing
- Maintaining a high level of morale within the Market
- Assisting departments in organizing products
- Performing housekeeping
